FOCUS Sports Business School was present at the United Soccer Coaches Convention 2026 in Philadelphia, one of the largest annual gatherings of coaches and football professionals in North America.
The convention brings together thousands of coaches, technical leaders, and decision-makers working across the game to exchange perspectives on coaching practice, leadership, and the evolving demands placed on football organizations.
At FOCUS, our work focuses on leadership development, coaching environments, and the organizational structures that support performance in football and sport. As clubs, academies, and leagues continue to grow in complexity, these areas are becoming increasingly important for sustainable performance.
During the convention, we had the opportunity to meet coaches, club leaders, and professionals from across the football ecosystem. It was also a pleasure to reconnect with several members of the FOCUS alumni community who are now contributing to the game in different roles and organizations.
Moments like this are a valuable reminder that football development extends beyond the pitch. Leadership, decision-making, and strong organizational structures play a central role in shaping how the game evolves.
